Main Route
Greek National Road 89 is a highway that goes from Koropi to Lavrio as a continuation of the Attiki Odos route. It starts from the Airport intersection near Koropi and ends at the Lavrio port. It has two lanes per direction on most of its length except for a small part in Markopoulo which has one lane per direction. It has 6 traffic lights, making it more like an urban avenue rather than a highway. However there are plans to construct junctions to replace the traffic lights and generally upgrade the road to motorway standards, making an extension of Attiki Odos.
